Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Echo Crawler, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game. wmkc may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. License Grant
wmkc grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Echo Crawler for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
The game and all its content — code, art, audio, and design — are owned by wmkc and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You do not acquire ownership of any part of the game.
3. Age Requirement
Echo Crawler is rated PEGI 16 due to the presence of paid randomized items. You must be at least 16 years old to use this game. By using Echo Crawler, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
4. Beta / Early Access
Echo Crawler is currently in beta. This means the game is actively being developed and improved. During the beta period:
- Game features, content, and mechanics may be added, changed, or removed without prior notice.
- In-game item stats, abilities, and balance values may be adjusted.
- Store prices (gem costs for packs, chests, and resources) may change.
- Virtual currencies, items, or progression may be reset if required by major updates.
If a change significantly affects items or currencies you purchased with real money (via gem packs), wmkc will make reasonable efforts to compensate affected players — for example, by refunding the equivalent gem value. However, compensation is not guaranteed to match the exact original purchase, and wmkc is not obligated to provide compensation for changes to free or in-game-earned content.
By using Echo Crawler during the beta period, you acknowledge and accept that the game is not in its final state and that changes are expected.
5. Virtual Items & In-Game Currency
All virtual items, currencies, and content in Echo Crawler (including but not limited to in-game currencies, equipment, tokens, and chest contents) are licensed, not sold.
- Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real money, goods, or services.
- Virtual items are non-transferable between users or accounts.
- wmkc reserves the right to modify, rebalance, or remove virtual items at any time for game balance, bug fixes, or other reasons.
- In-app purchases are final once the platform confirms the transaction. Refund requests must be directed to Google Play or the Apple App Store.
6. Randomized Content
Echo Crawler contains features that provide randomized virtual items and rewards, such as store chests and a Lucky Draw.
- Drop rates for all randomized content are always visible in the game before purchase.
- Purchasing randomized content does not guarantee any specific item or rarity. Results are determined by weighted random selection with the disclosed probabilities.
- A guarantee system (pity timer) exists: after a certain number of opens without a drop at or above a specific rarity, the next result is guaranteed to meet that threshold. Guarantee details are disclosed in the game.
7. Advertising
Echo Crawler displays opt-in rewarded video ads only. No interstitial, banner, or forced ads are shown. You always choose whether to watch an ad. Declining an ad never blocks gameplay progression. The "Remove Ads" purchase permanently eliminates all ad prompts and automatically grants ad-gated rewards.
8. Geographic Restrictions
Due to local regulations regarding paid randomized content and monetization in games, certain features may be restricted or unavailable in specific regions:
- Belgium, Netherlands, China: All monetization features (in-app purchases, paid chests, gem packs) are disabled.
- Brazil: Paid randomized content (chests) is disabled. Other in-app purchases remain available.
Region detection is based on your device's locale settings. These restrictions are applied automatically to comply with applicable laws.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the game
- Use cheats, automation software, bots, hacks, or exploits
- Attempt to manipulate in-app purchases, ad rewards, or game systems through unauthorized means
- Distribute, sell, or transfer your account or virtual items to others
- Circumvent geographic restrictions by spoofing your device locale or using other technical means
wmkc reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. wmkc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the game.
wmkc is not responsible for issues caused by third-party services (Google, Apple, AdMob), network connectivity, or device compatibility.
Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Israel.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
